Training for surgical assistants
The new training year for surgical assistants at the University Hospital Aachen started at the beginning of September. The new learning game was launched just in time for the start. The training starts with getting to know the hospital. By means of VR glasses and a supplementary web application, the prospective OTAs can get to know the hospital and receive additional information on rooms and equipment via supplementary info points.
In another project that has just been launched, the OTAs can test their expertise. In the "table-covering" game, they can lay out the appropriate surgical game for a particular operation. If a mistake happens, no problem. After all, everything here is only virtual and they can continue to practice.
